Singer Nicki Minaj apparently demands indulgent food such as Belgian waffles and fried chicken on her tour rider. The 'Starships' singer, who is renowned for her love of outrageous wigs and costumes, recently arrived in Australia to play a series of gigs, and demanded a vast array of calorific treats which were laid out for her backstage.
According to Australia's Daily Telegraph newspaper, in addition to waffles and chicken, Nicki also must have 12 cans of Red Bull, six of which must be at room temperature, while six are on ice, whipped cream, strawberries, 24 bottles of Snapple, contact lens solution and a cool-mist humidifier. A deli tray is also required which features turkey breast, whole wheat bread, grilled chicken breast and yellow mustard.
However, she does not only demand unhealthy food and sandwich fillings - Nicki asks for a salad of iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes, tuna and cucumbers in a light Italian dressing.
Nicki is not the only singer to have unusual demands in her dressing room. Lady Gaga's rider includes an oxygen mask, a whole chicken, a small plate of ''non smelly, non sweaty'' cheese and a pot of Manuka honey to soothe her voice.
Could someone please tell us how they keep their figures!?
