More doctor drama?

Even though the media-frenzied court case ended yesterday with the dramatic cuffing of Michael Jackson’s former physician, Dr Conrad Murray, it seems this isn’t the end of this tragic story’s press coverage quite yet.

Dr Murray – who was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of MJ yesterday – had agreed to be filmed in the run up to his trial and reportedly, in the process, revealed intimate details of the singer and his life.

The programme, entitled ‘Michael Jackson and The Doctor: A Fatal Friendship’, began filming in November 2009, five months after the star’s death, and features a series of exclusive interviews with Murray. The documentary also charts the preparations for the convicted doctor’s legal battle.

The drama is reportedly set to air both in the USA and in the UK – although we’re wondering if this whole sad story shouldn’t just be put to bed.

Dr Conrad Murray is still awaiting sentencing and has allegedly been placed on suicide watch whilst he waits in jail. Hopefully in all of this Jacko’s family will finally get some closure.
