About time! GLAMOUR favourite Kate Winslet has been given her own replica waxwork model at the London Madame Tussauds, and her lookalike is being exhibited alongside other British acting talents like Dame Helen Mirren and Dame Judi Dench.
Kate was included at Madame Tussauds after visitors voted for her to get her own tribute.
Liz Edwards, PR Manager at the tourist attraction, said: “Guests from around the world voted for Kate in droves – she’s clearly got wide-reaching global appeal. She’s an iconic actress of her generation; a true English Rose and we’re delighted to display a figure of her.”
Model-makers spent months perfecting the figure of 36-year-old Kate, which is dressed in the Elie Saab number she wore to collect her prize at the Emmy Awards earlier this year.
We think it’s an excellent likeness – best they watch out for too-ardent fans!
