Heather Locklear was discharged from the Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center around 5pm yesterday afternoon after having being admitted to the hospital on Thursday for reportedly mixing prescription medication and alcohol. According to the hospital spokesperson, the 50-year-old blonde beauty was in “good spirits, smiling and talkative,” and doctors decided she was well enough to return home, under the care of her family.
Her family are also reportedly pushing for the actress to receive specialist treament for psychological issues, rather than attending a rehabilitation facility. The star has undergone a turbulent last few years. In 2011 she was arrested, and later cleared, for a hit-and-run accident where she knocked over a ‘No Parking’ sign in Ventura County, California. And in 2008 she entered rehab seeking treatment for anxiety and depression. Heather has also endured a broken engagement to Melrose Place costar Jack Wagner in November, after just three months.
We certainly hope 2012 only gets better for Heather!
