The singer and husband Jay-Z – whose real name is Shawn Carter – welcomed their first child into the world last month, and the Crazy In Love hitmaker’s mother, Tina Knowles, is loving being a grandmother to little Blue Ivy Carter.
Tina said, “She’s doing great. She’s beautiful. [Being a grandma is] amazing. It’s the second best job I’ve ever had.” Too cute!
While Tina is smitten with the baby, she is unsure just yet as to which of her famous parents the tot resembles. She added, “She’s only a month old. So we have to give her a minute.” All we want to know is, what super-stylish garbs is fashionista Ms B dressing her little bundle of joy in?
Meanwhile, it’s been revealed that Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s close friends, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, splashed out on a R7 800 black Bugaboo Chameleon stroller for Blue Ivy. A source told Life & Style magazine, “It only makes sense for Beyoncé to have this ultra-chic stroller. Blue has the hottest ride!”
And Blue isn’t the only lucky star to be given gifts since her birth – Beyoncé’s manager splashed out R72 000 on two pendants for the 30-year-old singer. A source said, “Her manager ordered Tacori monogram B pendants for Beyonce.” According to the insider, one pendant features blue sapphires in tribute to Blue Ivy, while the other is a diamond letter ‘B’.
All this baby joy seems to be bringing in plenty of bling – Blue must be the luckiest little girl alive!
