Rose Byrne’s ‘Anna’ bob

Rose Byrne’s SAG hairstyle was inspired by Anna Wintour’s trademark bob cut.

The ‘X-Men: First Class’ actress arrived at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday with her short crop freshly cut to frame her face, which she modelled on the notorious Vogue editor and Michelle Pfeiffer in the movie ‘Scarface’.

She told People.com: “I tried this Jumpsuit on a couple of years ago. I loved it for an event and it just didn’t end up being the one that I wore. But I always had it in my mind. Then just yesterday, [stylist Harry Josh] did another cut and he did the back and then he did the bangs again. It’s Scarface-inspired. It’s like Scarface meets Anna Wintour.”

Australian star Rose had her make-up styled by Hung Vanngo, who’s worked on A-list stars including Julianne Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Celine Dion in the past. Describing how he married her make-up with the hairstyle, he said: “We all discussed the look for hair and makeup together and decided to keep it very minimal, nothing too overly done. Soft and sexy is the look – a nice blowout for the hair and for make-up we will just create beautiful skin and sexy eyes.”

We all have to agree that Rose certainly did look ‘soft and sexy!’
