Nicci st bruce, owner of Vamp clothing, is known for her standout style – and her personality is just as vibrant, fun and striking. Here she tells us a bit more about her style.
“i don’t want people to look at me and be shocked. I want them to be interested in what i’m wearing and how i put it together,” says the port elizabeth-born stylista and fashion blogger. She’s now based in cape town where her clothing label, vamp, has become a favourite with fashion editors and vintage lovers. “i started the brand in 2010 after going to fashion school and realising how much i loved designing clothes,” she says. “i sell vamp pieces from home and my website (shopvamp.com), but my goal is to open a store in the cape, and then take on the world!” So if you love to look expressive, independent and distinctive, find inspiration here. “i’m not someone who follows trends religiously,” Nicci says. “if something looks good on me, why would i put it at the back of my closet because it’s supposedly last season?” Love her attitude? You’ll love her clothes even more!
