The British supermodel tied the knot with ‘Friends’ actor Giovanni Ribisi in a surprise ceremony last weekend and Agyness’ model sister Emily took to twitter to celebrate their union.
She wrote on twitter: ”Congrats to mi sis @aggydeyn & mi new bro in-law Freakin love dem so much <3 (sic)” and later added a photograph of the pair with the caption ”CATS OUT THE BAG!! Congrats to my sis @aggyd @aggydeyn & mi new bro inlaw Giovanni (sic).”
The 37-year-old actor’s representative confirmed their marriage yesterday, saying: ”Agyness Deyn and Giovanni Ribisi quietly married in Los Angeles over the weekend.” According to Crown City News, the pair were spotted ”passionately kissing” while standing in line at the Los Angeles County Registrar’s office and confirmed they were planning to wed when quizzed by a reporter. They also said they had been dating ”for a while”.
News of the wedding may come as a shock as it was only in March that 29-year-old Agyness – who split from her previous boyfriend after four years of dating – said she was ”all alone”. She said: ”I’m all alone. There has been no man in my life for several months now and although it would be nice to have a boyfriend, I can’t just settle for anybody.”
Scientologist Giovanni – who can next be seen in ‘TED’ – has a 14-year-old daughter Lucia from his four-year marriage to Mariah O’Brien, who he divorced in 2001.
Whether it’s a marriage in secret or not, we’re just glad to hear the megamodel has met her match!
