Glee welcomes Cheryl Cole!

After a year of talk on set, Cheryl Cole’s cameo role in the musical TV show has finally been confirmed. Jane Lynch who plays the mean Sue Sylvester on the show said that Matthew Morrison was impressed by the 29-year-old star’s performance in his film ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’. “Matthew’s chatted to her and she seems keen. Cheryl’s the perfect ‘Glee’ fit – she can sing, she can dance and she looks good. It would be cool if she played herself,” added Jane.

Everyone – especially the younger guys – are keen to have her on the show for obvious reasons. Jane joked that her character won’t be taking any nonsense from the ‘Call My Name’ hit maker. In fact, she promises to be harsher than Simon Cowell himself, who famously sacked her after she worked on four auditions on the US version of ‘The X Factor’. “She might be used to getting treated like a princess but Sue Sylvester doesn’t make exceptions for anybody. If Cheryl starts acting like a diva, she’ll see that Sue is meaner than Simon Cowell,” said Jane.
