Zach Galifianakis is petrified of heights!

Zach Galifianakis skipped a press call for The Hangover Part III because he is scared of heights. The 43-year-old actor was due to attend a news conference with co-stars Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha and Ed Helms in Morro da Urca in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil but was forced to pull out after it was revealed he would have to take a 220-metre cable car ride to reach the venue.

A representative for the actor told GossipCop: “Zach is afraid of heights, and called into the press conference to let participants know, and made a few jokes.” Zach recently revealed he would be keen to reprise his character, Alan Garner, again in the distant future, but insists “nobody would care” about the movie series apart from its stars Bradley, Justin, and Ed.

He said: “If we all reach 90, I would, for sure, do another one. No one would care but it would be fun, wouldn’t it?” If another Hangover movie was created in 20 years then Zach would love his alter-ego to be just the same – but with a large family. When asked where he sees Alan in 20 years time, he replied: “‘Hangover 16! Alan will still be making the same mistakes and probably have 9 children.”

Zach finds it “weird” when he meets fans who just want to speak about him for a whole conversation. He explained: “People are usually nice and fun. But when you’re stuck with someone and all they wanna talk about is you … it’s a weird relationship.”
