Fergie: Parenthood gets better every day

Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel love being parents to son Axl, four months, and say their experiences of family life get better every day.

The Black Eyed Peas singer and her husband Josh Duhamel welcomed son Axl into the world last August and the couple are delighted to find parenthood gets better every day.

She said: “It’s been such an amazing journey for Josh and I so far, and each day gets more exciting.”

The 38-year-old star was back in the gym less than three months after giving birth to her baby in order to gain her pre-pregnancy figure and, despite springing right back into shape, the blonde beauty admits she still worries about her body.

She explained: “Let’s be truthful, who doesn’t have insecure moments. On stage or on the red carpet, it’s important to own your look and remember who you are.”

Fergie is currently juggling motherhood with her music career and many other project, including her cosmetics line Wet n Wild, her fragrance Outspoken, and her part-ownership into American soccer team Miami Dolphins, but she insists her family will always be her main focus.

She told Ireland’s U magazine: “I just finished a song named ‘Netflix’ on 2Chains’ album and have some other fun stuff I’m working on too. I’ve always got something up my sleeve. I really don’t feel like I’ve stopped. Between my shoe line, fragrances, winery, Wet n Wild cosmetics, the Miami Dolphins and of course, my music, I’ve kind of always just kept going work wise. I will always be focused on my family, that goes without saying.”
