Is Zac Efron “trying to find love”?
The 26-year-old actor stars in new romantic comedy That Awkward Moment – about three buddies who make a pact not to date any women after one is dumped – and says there are certain traits to his character, Jason, which he now shares after leaving rehab.
He told Us Weekly magazine: “Jason is a good person who is trying to find love and learning to be there for someone when they need you. Those are all things I’m learning to do too.”
Zac – who was reportedly treated for cocaine and alcohol abuse, but has said he is now “in a great place” – also admitted his most embarrassing recent moment came when he slipped and broke his jaw toward the end of last year.
Asked his most embarrassing moment, Zac – who previously dated Vanessa Hudgens for five years until 2010 – said: “That was probably when I slipped and hit my face on a fountain in my house. What was more awkward was telling everybody about it. I’ve had an interesting year, and the best part was being able to reflect upon the kind of man I want to be.”
