3 Easy hairstyles for spring

Spring is coming! Untuck your hair from inside your scarf and throw your beanies to the back of your drawers, because it’s time to bring back those gorgeous warm weather hairstyles.

The hair trends for this season are endless; from embellished buns to bold braids. We’ve found these 3 super easy hairstyles that you can pull together in minutes for an on-trend spring ‘do.

Faux-french fishtail

1. Part your hair. Section a small amount of hair from the temples on each side of your head and loosely tie together with an elastic.

2. Flip the ends up and through the opening between the elastic and the head, and tighten by pulling the ends outward to slide the elastic up.

3. Repeat this faux-french braid as you work down the head until you reach the neck.

4. Transition into a traditional fishtail braid. Split the hair into two sections. Take a small piece from the outside of the left section and cross it over to join the right section. Repeat with the right section.

5. Secure with an elastic at the ends.

Undone boho waves

1. After washing your hair, spray your wet hair with a texturising hairspray. Give your hair a rough blow dry, using a boar bristle brush to gently smooth as you go.

2. Wrap sections of your hair around the barrel of a curling iron or wand in alternating directions around your head. Switch up the amount of hair you curl each time.

3. Once you’ve finished your whole head, finger comb your hair and then shake your hair upside down.

4. Run a flatiron lightly over any waves that are too curly so your waves are as loose as possible.

5. Apply a dry shampoo to the ends of your hair in order to break it up while creating texture and separation.

Double ponytail

1. Run a smoothing mousse through your hair. Blow dry your hair straight.

2. Use your fingers to pull your hair into a neat mid to low ponytail. Wrap a small section of hair around the pony to cover the elastic and secure with a bobby pin.

3. Depending on the length of your hair, tie the ponytail into two or three even sections with a clear elastic.

4. Tease your hair out to give the ponytail sections some volume.

5. Finish with a mist of hairspray (we love Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray) from added shine and hold.
