Found! Your perfect city escape

Long since established as the cool kid on the block, the Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel is the perfect spot to get to know the splendours of Cape Town. Located on the vibey Long Street, it’s the ideal starting point for exploring the Mother City’s many nearby attractions.

You can expect playful but sophisticated interiors, designed by Beach House Interiors, with every room boasting individual styles and views of the hotel’s courtyard, Lion’s Head or the surrounding city scape.

If you’re able to tear yourself away from the luxurious king-sized beds and the travertine-tiled bathrooms, make your way to the Thirty Ate Eatery downstairs, known for its wide selection of foods and drink, and friendly feel. Pop in for lunch and try the succulent ostrich fillet served with mash, roasted vegetable and cranberry jus, and make sure to leave room for a decadent gluten-free chocolate brownie.

As for entertainment, you can shop till you drop at the Long Street boutiques, then relax with a drink or two at one of the trendy bars and restaurants in the area. In fact, you can have a full day of activities planned all within a three-kilometre radius of your suite. After a long day of exploring, grab a blanket, some popcorn and unwind under the stars at the hotel’s Pink Flamingo Rooftop Cinema. Careful, though, you may never be able to watch a movie the same way again! But if movies aren’t on your agenda, open a bottle of bubbly in one of the seven designer Airstream trailers on the rooftop trailer park – the epitome of luxury camping.
