Hunky rapper Jodi Cash has a new single out, ‘Sexy MF’, and it’s getting a lot of radio airplay. He describes his music as timeless, confident and unapologetically playful. Get to know more about the dreamy Durban-born and Cape Town-based artist.
What would you say is your best attribute?
My passion. When I set my sights on something, I always go for it 100%.
What inspires you?
I draw my inspiration from everywhere. Sometimes it’s a motivational saying, a memory or a great story. And sometimes it’s the beautiful girl standing next to me.
What’s your idea of a perfect date?
A late night with an adventurous girl, in a cigar lounge where they have good music and a wide range of alcohol. From there we could stumble to the hotel for a night cap and some late-night room service.
What’s your favourite drink?
I can never say no to a freshly poured cognac.
What fills the spot at the top of your dream destination list?
I’ve had the privilege of travelling to many destinations, but I have to say that Cape Town is one of the most beautiful places out there and it’s definitely my number one spot. Coming in at a close second would be Amsterdam.
Do you have any regrets when it comes to past relationships?
I’m not the kind of man with regrets, I believe what’s done is done and we should just learn from it.
What’s on your playlist at the moment?
To be honest, my playlist is currently a bit of a throwback. I’ve been listening to a lot of Rolling Stones, The Doors and Def Leppard in particular.
