When photos of Taylor Swift filming a music video emerged early last week, most people assumed it was for her second Reputation single, ‘…Ready for It?’ They were right: On Monday (October 23) Taylor released on Instagram a teaser for the music video, which drops Thursday night, and you might recognise some of the setups from the photos that leaked last week.
From this brief teaser, it looks like the video is a mix between ‘Bad blood’ and Blade Runner. It’s dark and futuristic-looking; at one point, Taylor stares into a neon crystal ball — her eyes also neon — like she’s absorbing magic powers. She fights masked bad guys wearing a hooded cape. Oh, and she appears nude in three moments.
OK, we don’t know this for sure, but take a look at the teaser, and you’ll see what we’re talking about. At one point, she lies horizontally, and the only thing covering her body (seems) to be neon lights. This happens again seconds later, only this time she’s standing up and walking. In between these moments, there’s another part where she’s gaining her powers and also looks pretty naked.

Regardless, this video looks pretty badass, and it’s perfectly in line with the edgier aesthetic Taylor is going for right now. Somewhere right now, “Old Taylor” is shaking in her boots.
