What is the Cape Town Writer’s Retreat?
The Cape Town Writers Retreat ( www.CapeTownWritersRetreat.com) is a weeklong professional workshop for fiction and nonfiction writers. We’ve nurtured talented writers all over the world and inspired great collaborations. Scripts, books, memoir, and poetry – everyone is welcome!
Where will the Retreat be held?
In our private loft on Long Street, in the heart of Cape Town, conveniently near great restaurants and transport.
What are the benefits of a writing workshop like yours?
The ingredients of powerful storytelling are precise, and writers, like musicians and artists, need to hone their skills to reach their full potential. The dynamic sessions at the Retreat focus on these ingredients, so participants can learn to take their writing to a whole new level.
How should participant prepare and what should they bring?
There’s nothing to prepare, as we’ll be working and exploring in the moment. As for what you should bring: Yourself, an open mind and heart, a notebook, and a fully charged laptop!
