You’ve heard of the saying “You don’t know what you have until it’s gone,” right? Well, for some reason I feel this way about Kylie Jenner’s mirror selfies. In 2016 and early 2017, I pretty much grew numb to them because Kylie Jenner posted one, like, every day. But in the latter half of the year and January 2018, she pretty much stopped them completely, leaving an iPhone-shaped hole in my heart. Jenner had a good reason for the hiatus, though: In February Jenner confirmed to the world that she was, in fact, pregnant and had already given birth to a daughter, Stormi Webster. This, in a nutshell, explained Jenner’s cryptic social media behaviour, which included lots of photos of her lip kits but no classic selfies.
But, praise be, Jenner is finally back to her selfie-posting ways. On Tuesday the makeup mogul posted two pics of herself lounging inside her Bentley while wearing a maroon-colour Adidas tracksuit, which is very 2016 Kylie. And now she’s officially posted her first mirror selfie of the year—on Valentine’s Day, of course.
The photo features Jenner wearing a black hoodie, shorts, and a pair of black-and-white spotted bootie heels that are probably super uncomfortable but look incredibly chic. “vday ️,” Jenner captioned this pic, which is serving some major classic Jenner vibes—and thank God because I hate change.

Finally, social media has been restored to the way it was intended. Kim Kardashian’s gushing about Kanye West’s paparazzi pics, West is posting photos of random celebrity couples, and Kylie Jenner’s mirror selfie game is strong once again. I can sleep easy now.
