Gigi Hadid knows how to live like a queen, and did so on the eve of her 23rd birthday — with a bowl of Cocoa Krispies.
Gigi took to Twitter to announce the sweet news on Sunday night (April 22). “As we close in on midnight, I would like to share that my final meal as a 22-year-old will officially be Cocoa Krispies. Thank you for your attention,” she wrote. Fans responded immediately, joking that she’s “snap crackling and popping” her way into 23, that she should totally be listening to Taylor Swift’s song “22,” and that she is, of course, a legend.
The supermodel also took to her Instagram account to share a series of nature photos, and to explain that each year, her birthday falls a day after Earth Day. She explained why nature means so much to her, and that she’s just a “little Taurus girl” who finds so much inspiration in being outside. “Every year, the day before my bday is Earth Day, and I’m still just a lil Taurus girl who finds so much happiness, contentment, and inspiration when I take a minute in nature and look around,” she wrote. “May we celebrate Mother Earth every day for all she gives and teaches us!”

Then on her actual birthday, Gigi shared a couple of old photos on her Instagram, including a “shoutout to my mamma.” One of the pics is from her first birthday, featuring Yolanda Hadid helping a baby Gigi blow out the singular candle on top of a birthday cake.

To celebrate her sister’s birthday, Bella Hadid also posted a series of throwback photos as she does every year saying on her Instagram story that April 23 is her “favourite day of the year” because it is the year her sister was born. She also mentioned that the two were best friends since the moment they met. Total aww moment.
