Bowling with a crystalized ball down a marble hallway? Not without a set of waist-grazing flat-ironed lengths that are thrown up into twin high ponytails—Lopez’s mile-long legs taking centre stage, of course. How about an afternoon preparing lunch al fresco? For a session at the grill, the singer is decked in racy ab-revealing lingerie with her classic glossy pout and voluminous curls on display. For the Bronx-born star, a walk in a manicured garden is not complete without a set of flirty false lashes and a sculpted, architectural top knot—one the talented beauty star has perfected over the years on red carpets and Manhattan streets alike.
Nods to decades past are Lopez’s crystal-embellished plaits, a welcome upgrade to her memorable rhinestone-encrusted bandana and braids at the 2000 VMA Awards, and her white fur hat, frosted lips, and icy blue eyeshadow, a look that chillingly recalls her 2002 music video with LL Cool J, “All I Have.” In truth, this would not be a Jenny-from-the-Block production without a show-stopping wind machine at the ready.
