A book of firsts: The 3 FIRSTS in the GLAMOUR September issue

We’re sure that by now you’ve managed to get your hands on a coveted copy of the Brand New GLAMOUR South Africa.  If not, you better get yourself a copy fast!

We’re very proud of the issue, and even more proud of the ground-breaking ‘firsts’ we were able to achieve with the GLAMOUR September issue.

Have no idea what these firsts are? Read below:

The FIRST black editor-in-chief at GLAMOUR SA in 14 years

In fourteen years, GLAMOUR South Africa has never had an Editor-In-Chief of colour. The appointment of Asanda Sizani has seen the magazine having its first black Editor-In-Chief at the helm. And, even though many other South African magazines have featured editors on their covers, this is a first for GLAMOUR.

Another first in the GLAMOUR September issue is the appearance of a hip-hop artist on the cover of GLAMOUR. Nadia Nakai aka Bragga appears on the cover of GLAMOUR as the first-ever hip-hop artist to ever feature on a GLAMOUR SA cover.
