Nandi Madida nails Afropunk Brooklyn hosting gig

This weekend, one of the most anticipated music festivals, Afropunk, took place. The Brooklyn-based music event saw the likes of Tyler The Creator, Miguel, Erykah Badu, Daniel Caeser, and Janelle Monae take the stage. Proudly melanated New Yorkers also had the pleasure of being entertained by the very first female to host Afropunk, Nandi Madida.

Dressed in a Madonna-inspired cone bra corset, Nandi Madida killed it!

Madida took to Twitter to share some videos. Take a look:

Man guys my life feels so unreal! Being backstage chatting amongst so many great talents was surreal. Thank you for making us trend worldwide, you’re the best crowd! #AfricanQueen @Afropunk #ThePeopleResist✊🏾🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/xQxmiF05iW
