Gauteng weather comes for Khanyi Mbau in shady tweet

Cyber-bullying is a serious topic in today’s times. With social media playing a huge role in this, there is sometimes a fine line that people cross. And this is exactly what happened on Twitter yesterday. And this time it wasn’t two celebs shading one another or a fandom coming for another, no Khanyi Mbau was in the firing line of The Gauteng weather service.

Yes, that’s right. The Twitter account @tWeatherSA poked fun at Khanyi’s skin tone in a controversial tweet.

The short of it was, the account warned people about “extreme UV all week amid a heat wave.” They went on to list those who are high risk, Tips and facts.

They went on to include Khanyi Mbau in the high-risk section. Ouch. Khanyi has been the topic of controversy when it comes to her skin and has been accused of skin bleaching but this has taken it one step too far.
