On Saturday night the Global Citizen Festival took place in New York. Global Citizen is a movement of engaged citizens who are using their collective voice to end extreme poverty by 2030.
Local celebs had the opportunity to attend the festival and rub shoulders with some of the most influential American celebs in the industry.
The stars shone on the red carpet and definitely did South Africa proud. Some of the lucky attendees were Nomzamo Mbatha, Maps Maponyane, Executive Director of UN Women, Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka and Nelson Mandela’s grandson, Kweku Mandela.
