Nicki Minaj has released a new fashion range based on her fight with Cardi B as it all features the slogan ‘Nicki Stopped My Bag’.
The ‘Chun-Li’ hitmaker clashed with the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper at a New York Fashion Week party last month and after their feud escalated following the row, the 35-year-old star has used Cardi’s own words as a slogan on some new merchandise.The collection features a fluorescent pink backpack, t-shirts and a bright purple jacket, all with the phrase ‘Nicki Stopped My Bag’ written across it.
The wording comes from Cardi’s choice of language when she defended herself after the fight after being escorted out of the party.
She fumed on Instagram: “I’ve let a lot of s**t slide. I let you sneak diss me. I let you lie on me. I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat! You’ve threatened other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f**king with them! I let you talk big sh*t about me.”
The ‘Barbie Dreams’ hitmaker later lashed out at Cardi – who has been recording new music with Nicki’s former boyfriend Meek Mill – after footage of their fight surfaced online.
She said: “You knew that when that footage came out, you were about to look dumb. So your team, they hurry up and put out a statement. I didn’t stop anyone’s bags.”
Nicki previously confessed she was “humiliated” by her fight with Cardi and was embarrassed by their behaviour, which allegedly included her rival throwing a shoe at her.
She shared: “The other night I was a part of something so mortifying, so humiliating to go through in front of upper echelon people – it’s not about black or white – people who have their lives together. I was mortified … I could not believe how humiliated I felt …. how we – and I use the term ‘we’ loosely – made ourselves look.”
And she denied Cardi’s claims that the fight began after she had criticised the ‘I Like It’ hitmaker and her husband Offset’s two-month-old daughter Kulture.
She added: “I would never discuss anyone’s child. It’s so sad for someone to pin that on me. I would never talk about anyone’s child’s or parenting, I don’t give a s**t. It’s so crazy to me that people always need to make Onika the bad guy. if you’re right in whatever you’re doing, you don’t ever have to make someone into the bad guy. You know I didn’t say or never did talk about anyone’s child.”

Cardi B has defended herself against Nicki Minaj’s claims that she used “sympathy and payola” to get success.
The ‘Be Careful’ hitmaker has hit back at her rival over her claims Cardi bought her way into the chart, insisting “numbers don’t lie” when it comes to her sales figures.She shared a post showing her debut LP, ‘Invasion of Privacy’ has the number three spot on 2018’s Top 10 Best Selling Hip-Hop Albums and wrote: “NUMBERS DONT F***ING LIE (sic)”
She also uploaded a video from a 2016 concert and wrote: “7/29/2016! NO LABEL, NO RADIO PLAY, FRESH OUT OF LOVE AND HIP HOP, ONLY 200K IN MY BANK ACCOUNT, MY FIRST TOUR !!! nobody can make you feel like you cheated yourself or you don’t deserve to be where you at when you KNOW YOU WORKED YOURSELF TO THE TOP !!! THANK YOU BARDIGANG !YOU BEEN HERE SINCE THE GET GO! (sic)”

Her remarks came after Nicki used her Apple Music Beats 1 show on Monday (10.09.18) to slam Cardi and accuse her of building her career on “sympathy and payola” – the practice of paying radio stations to play a song – following their altercation at a New York Fashion Week party days before.
She said about their fight: “You knew that when that footage came out, you were about to look dumb.
“So your team, they hurry up and put out a statement. I didn’t stop anyone’s bags. She had to say that because she has built her career of sympathy and payola.”
The ‘Chun-Li’ hitmaker also admitted the row had been “humiliating”.
She said: “The other night I was part of something so mortifying and so humiliating to go through in front of a bunch upper echelon people who have their life together.
“I was in a Gaultier gown — off the motherf***ing runway- and I could not believe how humiliated we all felt.”
Here’s how the fight began
Rap rivals Cardi B and Nicki Minaj had a huge fight at New York Fashion Week.
The rival rappers came face to face at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons bash on Friday (07.09.18) when Cardi approached Nicki and accused her of badmouthing her and disparaging her skills as a mother.
According to TMZ, Cardi, 25, launched a shoe at Nicki, 35, before she was stopped by the rapper’s security. Footage has also appeared on social media of the incident.
An insider told PEOPLE: “The scene was f**king crazy. It was entourage against entourage.
“They had their altercation on the second-floor balcony, right above the red carpet. All of a sudden there was a big commotion and everyone didn’t know what was going on.”
The source added: “She left barefoot with her dress ripped and butt out.”
Cardi – who wore a red Dolce and Gabbana gown – was later spotted being escorted out of the event with a large bruise over her left eye.
Shortly after leaving the party, she took to Instagram to slam Nicki, saying: “I’ve let a lot of sh*t slide. I let you sneak diss me. I let you lie on me. I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat! You’ve threatened other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f**king with them! I let you talk big sh*t about me.
“I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person and every time you copped a plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f**king off! I’ve worked too hard and come too far to let anybody f**k with my success!!!
“Bitches talk all that sh*t in they raps but in real life they p**sy. This sh*t really is for entertainment.”
Cardi welcomed her first child, Kulture, with husband Offset, earlier this year.
