Established in 2005 by mother and son team Penny and Dimitri Parolis, Inner Secrets Lingerie has recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary. Heralding such a milestone prompted a new look to take the brand into the future!
“Having just celebrated our 10th anniversary, we felt that it was time to upgrade our image, as we move the business from its infancy into the next exciting period of growth. We have now firmly established ourselves and the identity of Inner Secrets Lingerie and since retail is constantly evolving, it was time for us to present a new look,” comments Dimitri.
The well-recognised stores, which offer women a professional and personal experience in the fitting and styling of all intimate apparel including swimwear and sleepwear, called for a clean, streamlined, modern look with very luxurious finishes to compliment the heritage world brands that they represent.
“The shell of the stores has a polished, neutral look so they feel much more spacious than before and this has created the perfect canvas to showcase the beautiful lingerie and swimwear pieces. We have kept the change room area spacious, comfortable and intimate, to almost represent one’s own dressing room so that women feel at ease as they dress down and become transformed with our professional fitting service,” says Penny
Over the years, Inner Secrets Lingerie has focussed on their business processes, merchandise and service offering to such an extent that they feel confident of their efficient retail operation that is ready to be expanded upon. The new look falls in line with their future plans for the growth of the brand countrywide.
Mid-century style has become very much in vogue these days, possibly because we long for more optimistic times before we noticed that our planet is hotting up. Perhaps it’s time to stop building glass-clad airconditioned edifices, and rather to use humble brick and concrete blocks that provide shade, security, ventilation, privacy and beautiful pattern too.
These thoughts have inspired Moore to create three textile designs in a new fabric collection called BRISE SOLEIL. With these designs, in cool shades of grey, rich tropical blues and fresh pale greens, she hopes to communicate a sense of much-needed mid-century optimism, evoking cool protection, dappled light, and the simple pleasure of a repeating pattern.

If you thought pyjamas were just for sleeping in, think again. Coined pyjama dressing, sleepwear as both day and loungewear is gaining momentum. Not only are Sunday’s acceptable for lounging in pyjamas but every other day of the week can be too.
Frustrated by the lack of sophisticated sleepwear products for women, Signature Clothing were inspired to launch their own sleepwear range.
Providing style and comfort to women, Signature Clothing’s new sleepwear range is an affordable luxury investment and is aimed at women who want to look and feel good at home as well as when they are out and about.
With at-home working and home based businesses becoming the norm, a more relaxed attitude to workwear has been adopted. Pyjamas have become multifunctional in that they are easily transitional from sleepwear to daywear, making them the perfect attire to wear when working from home. Effortlessly stylish, no longer do you need to feel embarrassed when having to sign for an unexpected package delivered to your door.
Signature Clothing’s beautiful range of quality sleepwear consists of modern yet timeless silhouettes (buttoned down piped long and short sleeve blouses and matching bottoms) in both classic colours and a variety of sophisticated, feminine and fashionable prints. Soft to the touch, all the pieces are made from Rayon Challis, a luscious lightweight fabric that drapes beautifully and is ideal for travel clothing as creases disappear within minutes. The range is available in sizes 32 – 40.
Proudly South African, the production of Signature Clothing is done locally, thus supporting and empowering the local community. To see and buy Signature sleepwear styles or to view stockists, visit www.signatureclothing.co.za.
