A Glow Getter is as much about the hustle and ambition as she is about sparkle.
Glow Getters are bold, courageous and have attitude.
They go for it: loudly, proudly and without being afraid to embrace beauty and femininity.
They’re optimistic go-getters who always seek the sparkle and glow of life and who actively recognise the glow in their friends, peers and mentors.
Bernini drinkers are Glow Getters! They have sparkling personalities and ambition to match. Bernini is the sparkling grape Frizzante that embodies a spontaneous, exuberant zest for life.
Bernini recently created a series of short video’s which recognizes and defines what it means to be a Glow Getter by showcasing four strong, inspiring women who embody the ethos of Glamming on your way up in life.
TV presenter, Kim Jayde Robinson, deputy editor, Noxolo Mafu, food blogger, Luyanda Mafanya and wellness coach, Phemelo Segoe came together to share what being a Glow Getter means to them and how every woman has what it takes to be a Glow Getter too.
Kim Jayde says that to her a Glow Getter “fearlessly and unapologetically chases after what he/she wants. Drive, ambition, determination along with a kind heart is why I think I've been so blessed in my career this far. I'm totally a Glow getter!”
Luyanda says it’s important to also surround yourself with other like-minded Glow Getters, “as the saying goes, your network is your net worth. What you surround yourself with, you will eventually become. Surround yourself with doers, thinkers, achievers and builders, there is room for everyone.”
However, it’s not always an easy road and every Glow Getter goes through those nasty moments of self-doubt. Phemelo says that when this happens she takes a silent inventory of how far she’s come and then tells herself a different story. “Instead of reminding myself of all the challenges ahead of me and how I feel like I'm failing or how difficult it all is, I force the little voice that believes in me to speak up! I tell myself that I was chosen because I can do it, that I am already doing it and if I continue to show up for myself, I will continue to tower over the mountains”.
And lastly, Noxolo keeps herself motivated by looking to the incredible and extremely ambitious women in her life. “I love to see people win and it really does harness the best out of me. I also just want to create an incredible legacy for young black women – so I genuinely want to see us break boundaries”.

You’ve got what it takes, keep challenging yourself.
Make every hair flip count and work it!
