We knew it was too good to be true – a beautiful, talented actress with seemingly innocent tendencies in Hollywood? Now, even good girl Anne Hathaway has admitted that she used to indulge in self-destructive behaviour in college.
The One Day star insists that she is very similar to troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, who has been to rehab and jail numerous times and experienced a string of legal problems, but she was lucky enough to be able to live out her mistakes in private.
Anne has said “Lindsay Lohan and I have more in common than people think. We’ve all done things we shouldn’t. It is just that I did stuff at college when nobody knew about it, so I’m not a saint. I wasted time doing self-destructive things. I found out you can only dance on so many table tops. I got all that out of my system and I am healthy and grounded now.”
We’re proud of you Ms Hathaway! Now, if only a few of Hollywood’s pretty young things’ would follow suit.
