The singer-turned-designer launched her e-commerce site yesterday and says some of her favourite pieces for sale are three pairs of sunglasses, the Feather Butterfly, Classic Aviator and the Granny Cat, as the accessories have the “aspirational, chic, and refined aesthetic” she is known for.
She told PEOPLE, “A great piece of eyewear is the perfect complement to every outfit.
“The collection is handcrafted in Italy using the latest techniques and finest materials. Each piece is hand cut, assembled, and polished, with the same aspirational, chic and refined aesthetic that is at the heart of my creative vision.”
The 38-year old entrepreneur believes accessories are key to her signature chic, minimalist look.
Sharing her fashion tips with Grazia magazine, she said, “Never forget your sunglasses – they finish off any look.
“Make sure you always accessorise as the right bag can make the outfit.”
While the mother of four is often seen out in elegant figure-hugging dresses, she suggested a good-fitting skinny jean is a wardrobe essential.
She said, “It’s all about proportion and balance – a skinny indigo jean is good for day or night, just as the right amount of stretch is really flattering.”
However, she confessed she is not afraid to compromise on style for the sake of her children and sometimes believes comfort is more important.
She explained, “Dress appropriately – not too tight, with room to move around when carrying the kids!… Contrary to rumours, you don’t always need to wear heels!”
And Victoria insisted she has no fashion regrets.
She admitted, “People always say, ‘Do you cringe?’ And I say, ‘Not at all.’ Everybody changes. I love fashion, and I love changing my style, my hair, my makeup, and everything I’ve done in the past has made me what I am now.
“Not everyone is going to like what I do, but I look back at everything, and it makes me smile.”
