Chloë Moretz opened up about her breakup from Brooklyn Beckham back in 2016. Although the couple have rekindled their romance, the actress has revealed she was going through a lot during their split and just wanted to “hide”.
Speaking to Australia’s Stellar magazine, Chloë said: “I went through a hard year and I’m not going to hide that. I had to deal with this new level of fame while I was growing up, I was getting out of a relationship and all of it was very public. I wanted to hide.”
The 20-year-old actress also revealed she sought support from her family who encouraged her “not to hide away”: “They were like, ‘That’s all great that you want to go away – but you can’t. You are your own person. You’re going to have to deal with this sort of thing.'”
She continued: “I felt like things were falling apart, like my head and heart weren’t in the same place. Things started to change when I saw I have the power within to change them.”
We’ve all been there, Chloë. Fortunately the actress’ heartbreak has now healed, and her and Brooks have rekindled their romance– there were even rumours of an engagement. We just love these two together. ❤️
