Siba and her family play in the snow

If you live in Cape Town you will know that winter is here. And on Monday in the Cape Winelands, celeb chef Siba Mtongana and her family got to experience snow for the first time in South Africa.

They were on a family vaycay at Aquila Private Game Reserve near Touws River close to Cape Town and they were caught in the middle of a snowstorm. She posted some oh-so-adorable pictures of her and her family enjoying the snowfall for the first time.

The curious foodie in me has always been curious on how snow actually taste like… today that curiosity was satisfied… the funny thing about snow is it always unleashes the child in you no matter what age… you simply can’t ignore it especially that it’s rare on our side of the world.. it’s just magical!!
