Woo, lordy, what a fit! The Met Gala is the Super Bowl of fashion, but Kid Cudi didn’t have to come at us this hard. The man who is known for pushing the boundaries of men’s fashion with everything from skirts to crop tops, absolutely outdid himself this year.
Arriving decked in a street style infused, colourful head-to-toe Louis Vuitton outfit that saw him successfuly mix a flowing skirt with a sweatshirt and an iced-out chain, The Man on the Moon was really in another galaxy of steez.
But, the coup de resistance was Cudi’s grooming. He’s been playing with colourful hair all year but raised the bar for the Met. A bright green hairdo played well off the neon hues of the rest of his outfit, and then a heavy dose of black eyeliner centred the whole look becoming the black hole at the centre of a colourful, starlit universe.
