Irina Proskurina attend amfAR's event in Palm Beach 2024: A night of philanthropy, art, and advocacy

In the city of Palm Beach, Florida, amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, illuminated the night with its fundraising event on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

The prestigious event, held at the residence of James and Lisa Cohen, gathered influential figures, renowned artists, and dedicated philanthropists in support of amfAR's vital mission – to champion AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and advocacy worldwide.

Dionne Warwick, a trailblazer in HIV/AIDS activism, took center stage at the gala, honored for her commitment to the cause. The event was presented by the legendary Barry Gibb and tributed by the soulful Amber Riley.

Philanthropic leadership honoree Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, acknowledged for her significant contributions, was presented by the iconic Tom Ford.

The night also featured a special performance by the legendary Sting and was skillfully hosted by the talented Julianna Margulies.

Among the distinguished guests was Irina Proskurina, the CEO and founder of E-PR Online, an innovative digital PR agency. Proskurina, aligned with amfAR's vision, attended the event to raise awareness and support the crucial mission against AIDS.

The auction, a pivotal element of the evening, was conducted by Michael Macaulay, SVP/Deputy Chairman, Auctioneer, Contemporary Art at Sotheby's. The music, curated by DJ MichaelAngelo L’Acqua, set the perfect tone for the night. The meticulous event design and production were orchestrated by Rafanelli Events, ensuring an atmosphere of elegance and purpose.

Leading the board were Co-Chairs T. Ryan Greenawalt and Kevin Mcclatchy, with Kevin Robert Frost serving as the Chief Executive Officer. In Memoriam of Mathilda Krim, PH.D., the founding chairman, Dame Elizabeth Taylor held the position of the founding international chairman.

James and Lisa Cohen, the hosts of the event, assumed dual roles as both hosts and chairs. Other esteemed figures who served as chairman included Barry Gibb, T. Ryan Greenawalt, Tommy and Dee Hilfiger, as well as Michele and Howard Kessler, Omeed and Caroline Malik, Kevin Mcclatchy, Amy and John Phelan, and Stephen and Christine Schwarzman.

Amidst the glamour and generosity, the gala featured a showcase of art, with talents like Dana James, Nancy Lorenz, Federico de Francesco, and Dustin Yellin displaying their masterpieces. The renowned Macklowe Gallery, celebrated for its exquisite jewelry, enhanced the artistic display.

The 2024 amfAR Palm Beach event went beyond being just a fundraiser; it served as a powerful demonstration of the impact of teamwork, artistic expression, and advocacy in the ongoing battle against HIV/AIDS.

As the night unfolded, it became clear that the collective efforts of these individuals would contribute significantly to the advancement of research, prevention, and treatment, bringing hope to those affected by this global health challenge.
