The SKYY Vodka & Soda is a Summer 2021 staple

SKYY Vodka just elevated summer dinner parties and Saturday brunch with the girls.

With the expertise of a water sommelier, a chemist, and a professional bartender, SKYY Vodka has taken the cocktail experience from iconic to supreme. SKYY Vodka has always been the go-to choice for mixing the perfect vodka soda, and now with the relaunch of the smooth and superior vodka, is there any other way to do it?

SKYY Vodka is now made with water enhanced by minerals, including Pacific minerals sourced from the San Francisco Bay Area, and filtered through California Limestone. The new twist to SKYY’s liquid is intended to add character to any cocktail experience and pair perfectly with soda and a grapefruit twist.

The subtle salinity of SKYY Vodka releases the citrus aroma of the grapefruit peel and reduces its bitterness, resulting in a balanced and fresh-tasting vodka soda experience. The new SKYY Vodka is fresh and clean on the nose carrying a hint of fruit and toasted grain and finishes with a clean, smooth taste on the palate. Can you see it now? For the SKYY Vodka reboot, the brand collaborated with Martin Riese - the water sommelier, Shaylyn Gammon - the chemist, and Don Lee - the professional bartender. Together they discovered the unique, superior twist that minerals could bring to vodka and crafted SKYY’s signature taste using natural elements found in the coastal waters surrounding San Francisco.

Managing Director of GSM Spirits for The Campari Group, Julka Villa, says that with the collective of experts, they created a liquid that expresses itself across all elements of the brand.

“At SKYY, we saw soda water emerge as the top mixer and quickly recognised an opportunity to transform the vodka category once again by offering our consumers something truly unique and in direct response to their evolved preferences for lighter-, cleaner-, and fresher-tasting drinks.

“It is with great pride that we announce the new evolution of SKYY, a refresh inspired by the natural coastal resources of our home city that our team has worked meticulously to perfect.”, Villa added.

SKYY’s refreshed packaging design is also inspired by San Francisco’s natural character. The new bottle features a sophisticated and sleek appearance with a lighter, more natural blue tone, ripples and ridges that reflect the waves of the Pacific Ocean, and a restyled white logo. The new identity and package design will roll out across all 750ml bottles and shipping cases for SKYY Vodka and SKYY Infusions Raspberry, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, Peach, Cherry and Citrus.
