The legendary Greatest Love of All singer was apparently found “underwater and unconscious” in her Beverly Hilton hotel room amid all the glitz and glamour of the pre-Grammy party.
Police have confirmed that attempts were made for 30 minutes to save the legendary singer, after she was discovered by a member of her staff on Saturday afternoon. Tragically, their efforts were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead at 3:55pm.
A Beverly Hills Police spokesman said in a press conference, “She was underwater and apparently unconscious. Ms Houston was pulled from the tub by members of her staff and hotel security was promptly notified.”
The rumour mill has been going crazy with reports that the troubled star’s hotel room was scattered with prescription pills, hinting that Whitney had indeed been on a wild binge.
The tragedy only seems to get worse, as news emerged that Whitney’s young daughter, Bobbi Kristina hasbeen rushed to hospital, as her family are worried that she may be suicidal. The devastation of her mother’s passing has turned her world upside down – a cause for concern for her friends and family.
