Eyes from the swinging ’60s

As seen at L.A.M.B., Fendi and Betsey Johnson shows in New York.

Think Twiggy circa 1966, when she was rocking Mary Quant minis in Kings Road photo shoots with David Bailey. Dainty, doll-like and pretty delightful, we absolutely love this makeup trend. Yes, they’re bold and brash, but who can say no these soulful, sultry peepers?

Backstage tricks:

Start by creating a fresh, clean canvas for you to work on with foundation, and then use a deeper shade of powder to contour your cheekbones for that gamine look – TRY Revlon Age Defying with DNA Advantage in Medium. Then, with a blue eyeliner like L.A. Girl Endless Eyeliner in Neon Blue, draw a thick line along your lash bed. If you’re feeling brave, get that playful ’60s style by painting lashes underneath your eye with liquid liner. Finally, make your peepers pop by using the end of a mascara wand to create thick, clump-like spider legs on your lashes.
