Get the look!

Keira Knightley looked absolutely gorgeous in a breathtaking Valentino gown and sultry eyes at the LA Film Festival premiere of her new film Seeking A Friend for the End of the World.

Keira opted for soft eyes with bronze, copper and burnt umber colours accentuated by a sweep of black liquid liner across the top lash line and a few coats of volumising mascara.

Step 1: If you want to recreate this look, start with the eyes (doing foundation and concealer afterwards will make your life much easier, I promise). Using a flat brush, cover the whole lid with a nude eye shadow shade – take this right up to your brow bones, and out to the edges of your eyebrows. This acts like a highlighter, so you don’t have to apply more later.

Step 2: Next, using a brown kohl pencil, fill the whole waterline along your top lashes, then line the outer half of your bottom lashes with the same pencil.

Step 3: Use an angled brush to apply a deep bronze shadow to the outer quarter of the lids, sweeping it outwards to get that dramatic look. Build-up the colour by adding a more apricot shade over the top. Blend these two together, working inwards towards the middle of the lid.

Step 4: Curl your lashes, and add a few coats of mascara on both the top and bottom lashes.

Step 5: Use the lighter shade to follow the bottom lash line right to the corner, and blend well. I find a bullet-shaped brush works best for this, but you can use an angled one too. The best way to create a symmetrical sweep is not with a brush, but with a wet wipe.

Step 6: Add a soft pink blush and nude lipgloss to soften the look. And if you really want to stand out, add a delicate ruby garland in your hair – and voila, you’ve got the look!
