Every few weeks a celebrity doppelgänger pops up on social media who leaves everyone mystified. In February it was April, whose resemblance to Taylor Swift is so uncanny that her Instagram feels like The Twilight Zone. In June this Emma Watson look-alike duped the entire world, including Albus Dumbledore. A few months later a Selena Gomez lookalike went viral on Instagram, and understandably so: She’s Gomez’s living twin. Hell, Chloë Grace Moretz’s doppelgänger from the Philippines is so on the nose that even Moretz couldn’t help but react. When the celebrities themselves are shook, you know it’s a big deal.
And now a new doppelgänger is setting the Internet ablaze. Her name is Andele Lara, and she looks so much like Rihanna that it’s honestly scary. Don’t take our word for it, though. We’ll let these photos do the talking.
Lara’s slicked-back hair and denim look here is serving some major ‘”FourFiveSeconds’ vibes.

Here’s what we know about Lara. She’s a beauty influencer on Instagram with more than 70 000 followers. She runs a personal blog called Grow and Glow, which covers her life as well as stories about food, health, and wellness. Oh, and she’s well aware of her resemblance to Rihanna.
“I’ve never had a career of being a ‘Rihanna Look Alike,'” she wrote on her blog. “Yes, there is a little resemblance to Rihanna, but NO; I am NOT a Rihanna look-alike. During an interview in 2014, I mentioned I would consider being a look-alike. This set off an online firestorm, and I received hundreds of hate mail and negativity. Oh to be young and naive. We all make mistakes right?”
The fact people actually gave Lara hate for looking like Rihanna is beyond infuriating — and also confusing. IRL RiRi should step in and set these haters straight, and then she and Lara can take a selfie together. Then we’d really be seeing double.
