International music videos that were actually filmed in Mzansi

Let’s be honest, South Africa is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful countries in the world. With that being said, it’s no wonder that international artists flock to our country to film music videos and showcase our famous mountain, our jaw-dropping sunsets, spectacular beaches and our traditional underground nightlife amongst other attractions.

Rudimental & Major Lazer recently dropped their latest music video for their catchy single “Let Me Live” and it immediately caught my eye. Recognising our signature taxi kombi’s, traditional dance moves and of course Johannesburg’s scenery. See the video here:

So this got me thinking. What else has been filmed here that we might have missed? Well, I did some digging and it turns out there’s A LOT! From The Script to Jonas Blue, many artists from around the globe have used South Africa as the cinematic canvas to showcase their music videos.
