The MTV European Music Awards otherwise known as the MTV EMAs have just announced the full nominee list on their site and there are some special names on there.
That’s right, Distruction Boyz and Shekinah have been nominated in the Best African Act catagory. They are competing against other African acts like Davido, Tiwa Savage and Fally Ipupa.
A South African act hasn’t taken home the award since 2013 when electronic duo LCNVL won.
The nominees will be flying to Bilbao in Spain next month for the awards show.
