Life is full of so-called-rules but when it comes to our locks these are the three we swear by!
DON’T even think about using a heat styler on hair that’s still damp. The styler will boil any water left on the hair shaft, causing huge damage. That means split ends and breakage.
DON’T try to trim your own. All the experts we spoke to felt strongly about this: If you use your ordinary home scissors, it folds the hair in a way that will give you bad results, your hairstylist will typically give you a free fringe trim between cuts. That’s much easier than trying to fix a DIY cut gone wrong!
DON’T forget to trim your ends every six weeks to three months. A trim gives your hair a boost, gets ride of split ends and makes your hair easier to style.
