Sarah Hyland says she is having more fun being blonde. The ‘Modern Family’ star – who dyed her brunette locks golden in November last year – is particularly enjoying her new lighter hair colour and admitted she is having “a blast”.
The actress showed off her new ‘do at the People’s Choice Awards, which she teamed with a stunning, bejewelled Christian Siriano dress.
Sarah told E! News: “They say blondes have more fun and I’m definitely having a blast. I don’t know, I’ve always wanted to be one.”
The 24-year-old beauty – who secured a permanent protection order against her ex-boyfriend Matthew Prokop, from whom she split after five year of dating last year amid claims he assaulted her and threatened her life – insists that the change of style wasn’t sparked by the dramatic end to her relationship.
Sarah previously revealed she had been planning to drastically change her image for a long time.
She explained: “This has been a transition that I’ve been planning for two years.”
