Our lucky beauty director got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sit and chat beauty with esteemed actress and Neutrogena ambassadress, Jennifer Garner. Here are Jennifer’s top five beauty tips and tricks.

1 Get into good habits

“A good beauty routine is important. I always wash my face well, follow with a moisturiser, serum and sun protection.”

2 Eat well

“I aim to eat a balanced diet and avoid extremes. Whenever I diet, I pick up weight! Typically, my lunch is a fresh salad that includes kale, Brussel sprouts, green arugula, broccoli, avo and cheese. But I love chocolate too and I have a weakness for M&Ms.”

3 Don’t sweat the small stuff

“Confession: I don’t know how clothes go together – I simply don’t have an eye for it. And I can’t do the perfect blowout either. If my job didn’t require that I take care of my appearance, I’d go for comfort every time. And that’s OK!”

4 Stick to the basics

“Moisturise your neck and put sunscreen on your hands!”

5 Wear sunscreen

“I don’t mind being that annoying voice in your head that reminds you to wear sunscreen. It’s a good habit to get into – essential for healthy skin!”
