PUMA goes beyond classics for season 2 of the Luxe Sport collection as worn by Bongi Msomi

In 1998, PUMA became the first sports brand in the world to dissolve the barrier between performance and fashion. PUMA collaborated with German minimalist designer Jil Sander to bridge sport and style, forging a partnership that was years ahead of its time.

In 2022, PUMA continued to disrupt with the launch of Luxe Sport at New York Fashion Week, a collection that redefined the codes of couture. Now, the second season of Luxe Sport embraces the possibilities of movement and human gesture, through reimagined forms, shapes, and figures that are designed to amplify the voice of our own body language.

The Luxe Sport T7 Robe Coat, R5 999, worn by South African Spar Protea netball captain Bongi Msomi, is an inspirational pillar for the collection, which features sharper silhouettes, exaggerated shapes, and experimental tailoring.

Msomi is also seen in the Luxe Sport T7 Pleated Pants R2 499, and the PUMA Slipstream Cord Sneakers R2 299.

Allowing tailoring and cuts to come to the forefront, the range is punctuated by muted tones throughout, including greys, blacks, and beiges. Other highlights of the collection include PUMA’s T7 Track Jacket R2 999 and Track Pants R2 399, T7 Gilet R2 499 and T7 Knitted Top R1 299. Focal accessories include a Luxe Sport Bucket Hat R649 and LUXE SPORT Boxy Waist Bag R2 499.
