Listen up...

When Derek Blasberg was hired to spearhead the  fashion and  beauty partnerships division at YouTube, we knew to expect big things. But we did not anticipate three individual channels from Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell and Alexa Chung, and a constant stream of enormously entertaining videos, namely *that* iconic airplane cleaning ritual from Naomi.

And now, in an attempt to secure YouTube’s reputation as a global destination for style content, the fashion journalist and TV presenter is launching a brand-new destination to celebrate the return of September’s fashion month and you’re going to want to tune in.

Slash Fashion will showcase premium style and beauty content, collaborating with industry professionals, luxury fashion houses, beauty experts and publishers. Whether you’re looking to update your wardrobe for the next season, have a sneak peek at your favourite A-listers' beauty routine, or tune in live to fashion week,  Slash is about to become your go-to destination for fashion and beauty.

So, what can we expect from Derek’s ambitious new project? Firstly, there will be attention-grabbing collaborations with the industry’s biggest fashion houses, including Dior, Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren, who will also live stream their runway shows.

Slash will also be launching a ‘Stories of Style’ segment where fashion’s IT girls and Derek’s longtime BFF’s (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Alexa Chung) will offer a glimpse into their enviable wardrobes.

But it’s not all fashion. Beauty buffs will be able to tune into ‘Beauty Today’ which will showcase compelling videos with top beauty bosses. Huda Beauty, NikkieTutorials and Jackie Aina are amongst the names set to supercharge your beauty routine.

“Our goal is to make YouTube.com/Fashion a diverse and inclusive place, filled with the latest fashion and beauty trends, content and more,” Derek commented. “ We’ll be working over the coming months to bring more international voices to the page and localize for global markets.”

We’re sold. Are you?
