To celebrate the launch, Nespresso is hosting a three-day Summer Pop-Up at Nelson Mandela Square from 30 January to 01 February 2026, open to the public. Designed as a bold, 90s-inspired summer playground, the immersive space invites guests to taste the latest iced coffee creations, explore limited-edition machines and accessories, and lounge in a vibrant environment that blends music, play, and discovery. Visitors can engage in interactive games, capture their summer vibe at a retro-inspired photo moment, customise selected Nespresso accessories, and shop the seasonal collection, all while soaking up the coolest coffee experience in town.
The weekend’s highlight takes place on Saturday, 31 January, with a Coffee run open to the public, in collaboration with Vault Strength Club. Runners will arrive at the pop-up to vibey, upbeat music, receive branded Nespresso bandanas, and kick off the morning with a community-led run before returning to the space to enjoy breakfast bites, iced coffees, and a high-energy Coffee Rave courtesy of DJ Lelo What’s Good. Guests will also be able to sample the hero iced serve, Active B6, which is part of Nespresso’s Vertuo Coffee+ functional range. With almond and vanilla notes and added Vitamin B6, this blend is intentionally crafted to be enjoyed cold, perfectly aligning with South Africa’s growing wellness-led movement.
