We celebrated World Paloma Day on the 22nd of May, Don Julio invites you to raise a glass with a uniquely refined take on the beloved cocktail, the Don Paloma. This simplified version of the Paloma introduces the incredibly zesty taste of Don Julio Blanco, enveloped in a rich yet crisp flavour profile.

The Paloma cocktail is a Mexican favourite that originated in the mid-20th century. It has since evolved into a staple of Mexican cocktail culture and is now enjoyed around the world for its signature crisp and citrusy flavour.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 shots Don Julio Reposado
  • ¾ shot Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice
  • ½ shot Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
  • ½ shot Agave Nectar
  • A handful of cilantro leaves
  • 3 shots Club Soda

Garnish:

  • Cilantro Leaves
  • Salted Grapefruit Slice

Preparation:

  • Add Don Julio, grapefruit juice, lime juice, agave, and cilantro to a cocktail shaker.
  • Fill with ice and shake with passion.
  • Strain into a glass over fresh ice.
  • Top with club soda.
  • Garnish with cilantro leaves and a salted grapefruit slice.
