The Show:
The Loris Azzaro Couture Spring-Summer 2015 show. The collection was inspired by the desert with its oasis and winding, shifting landscapes, constantly being reshaped by the warm breeze of the sirocco wind.
The look:
Hairstylist Damien Boissinot used Moroccanoil products to create both matte and high-shine textures that he felt mimicked the idea of a dry, shifting desert landscape. The result? This tight chignon with windswept edges.
How to get it:
First, apply a volumising mousse like Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse
on the lengths and ends. “This product is unique because it adds moisture to the hair while creating volume and texture to prepare for the style,” says Damien.
Then brush all of the hair back using and mist with hairspray (this will hold the lengths of the hair in place). “I then applied Moroccanoil Molding Cream
on the hair at the top of the head, strand by strand to create a very dry (matte) and slightly messy effect,” explains Damien.
“Next, create a ponytail and secure with an elastic – keep the sides and nape very tight! Smooth hair with a styling creme like Moroccanoil Frizz Control
to prevent any frizz. “I lightly scrunched the lengths and twisted them into a bun, letting out a few wispy strands,” says Damien.
“The sides and neck of the hairstyle should be very clean and shiny,” advises Damien. Finish the look with a shine spray for a luminous result.
