Are you looking for easy ways to grow and nourish your 4c hair? Look no further, because we have you covered.

What you’ll need:

● TRESemmé Botanic Rich Oil Mist

● TRESemmé Botanic Moisture & Replenish Hair Food

● TRESemmé Botanic Moisture & Replenish Co-Wash

● TRESemmé Botanic Pre-Wash Detangling Butter

● Satin bonnet or scarf

Retain Moisture

This is undoubtedly the most essential step in nourishing and growing natural hair. To do this, you should use hair treatment products that are designed to seal moisture in your hair and scalp. Rub 1-2 pumps of TRESemmé Botanic Rich Oil Mist in the palms of your hands and apply from mid-lengths to ends every day.

Your scalp will need moisture too, so we recommend that you use TRESemmé Botanic Moisture & Replenish Hair Food. To use, divide the hair into sections or lines using a tail comb, then apply the hair food onto your scalp. Not only will this help your hair grow, but it will help in relieving an itchy scalp as well.

Co-wash your hair with a sulphate-free product

4c hair already has trouble retaining moisture, so do not worsen the situation by washing your hair excessively. However, we do advise that you co-wash instead. Co-washing cleanses your scalp while helping you add and retain moisture. Try out TRESemmé Botanic Moisture & Replenish Co-Wash once a week as it’s sulphate-free and made with natural ingredients.

We recommend that you wash 4c hair every 2 weeks with a sulphate-free shampoo.

Detangle your hair while it’s wet or damp

Detangling your hair is important because if you don’t it can lead to breakage and hinder your hair’s growth. The best way to detangle your hair is to wet it first and apply TRESemmé Botanic Pre-Wash Detangling Butter and leave in for 3 minutes. Then gently comb your hair to detangle. Rinse off thoroughly with cool water.

Cut split ends

Assess your hair every 3-4 months so that you can cut off loose ends because if you don’t, they can make your hair look weak and damaged.

Protect your hair while you sleep

Sleep with a satin bonnet or scarf to ensure that all your hair’s moisture is retained and that your hair is kept neat throughout the night. This way, your hair will be easier to manage in the morning – so you won’t wake up looking like a hot mess!

Braid it up!

Braiding your hair can help in making it grow faster because braids keep your stands in check. A braided hairstyle will help to reduce the number of times you’ll brush or detangle your hair – which is a frequent cause of breakage and hair loss. Additionally, braiding your hair will also keep shrinkage at bay. Check out this cute Bantu knots hairstyle that you can achieve at home:
