The Golden Globes: Our favourite red carpet looks of the night

Awards season is in full swing!

The 85th annual Golden Globes awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles. The Creme de la Creme of Hollywood attended this prestigious event. A veritable constellation of A-list actors, directors, producers, and industry heavyweights. This event, renowned for honouring the best in film and American television, served as the unofficial kick-off to the major awards circuit. Comedian Nikki Glaser was the emcee for for the night with this being her second consecutive year hosting the event.

The red carpet was filled with glitz and glamour as stars came out in their finest haute couture ensembles.The fashion stakes have clearly scaled new heights, moving beyond mere trends and into a realm of sophisticated elegance. A noticeable resurgence of "Hollywood Glamour" defined the carpet, with celebrities and their stylists intentionally opting for more refined, elegant, yet clean and paired-down aesthetics. This sartorial choice marked a refreshing pivot towards timeless beauty and classic silhouettes.

Some of our top looks of the night was first time Golden Globe winner Teyana Taylor who walked away with the award for Best Supporting actress - was not only a winner in her craft but was undoubtedly a winner on the red carpet too. She wore a custom Haute Couture Schiaparelli gown with an unexpected silver‑rhinestone bijou thong set against flowing couture drapery. The gown was a masterclass in Hollywood Glamour. Another standout out look was Britney Snow in a white strapless bridal inspired gown by designer Danielle Frankel from the F/W 2025 collection with a flared bottom with a large hemline creating a dramatic effect on a classic silhouette. Jennifer Lawrence opted for a more daring look by designer Sarah Burton for Givenchy was a firm favourite of the night.
